PPEC services are covered by Medicaid and most private insurance plans. Once a child is deemed eligible for PPEC services based on medical necessity, the cost is fully covered, reducing the financial burden on families.
PPEC speech therapy encompasses a wide range of interventions tailored to each child’s specific needs. Services can include articulation therapy, language intervention activities, and oral-motor or swallowing therapy. Our PPEC speech therapists work closely with each child, their family, and other healthcare providers to create and implement an effective treatment plan.
While home nursing care provides necessary medical support, PPEC services offer a more comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach.
