Comprehensive Tube Feeding Support

Our tube-feeding services are designed to provide children with consistent nutritional support while giving families greater peace of mind.

Each child’s feeding routine is based on their prescribed care plan, nutritional requirements, schedule, and individual medical needs.

Our trained team provides support for children who receive nutrition, hydration, or medications through gastrostomy, jejunostomy, or nasogastric tubes.

We carefully follow established feeding procedures and monitor children throughout their feeding sessions to promote comfort and safety.

Our care team observes each child during and after feeding and communicates relevant concerns or changes with the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Tube feeding may be part of a broader care plan for children with swallowing difficulties, neurological conditions, developmental challenges, or other medical needs.

We keep parents and caregivers informed about their child’s daily care and work together to support continuity between the PPEC center, home, and healthcare team.

More Than Feeding: Complete Pediatric Support

Tube feeding is often one part of a child’s overall medical and developmental care. Our team works within the child’s individualized care plan to support their broader needs throughout the day.

Children receiving tube-feeding support may also require care related to:

  • Swallowing and feeding difficulties
  • Neurological conditions
  • Developmental delays
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Prematurity
  • Gastrointestinal conditions
  • Growth and nutritional concerns
  • Complex medical conditions
  • Medication administration through feeding tubes

We coordinate with families and healthcare providers to help ensure that care remains consistent with the child’s prescribed needs.

Who Qualifies for PPEC

PPEC is for children from birth through age 20 who are medically fragile or have complex medical needs and are medically stable. A child’s doctor prescribes it. If your child already qualifies for home nursing, they will very likely qualify for PPEC. Call or text us and we will help you find out. If our center is not the right fit for your child, we will refer you to one that is.
