A PPEC is a non-residential daycare facility that offers nursing, personal care, therapeutic, and developmental services to medically complex children. In the state of Florida, PPEC facilities are required to meet stringent standards, including having a licensed pediatrician or pediatric nurse practitioner on staff, and maintaining an extraordinary staff-to-child ratio to ensure personalized care.

Who Qualifies for PPEC

PPEC is for children from birth through age 20 who are medically fragile or have complex medical needs and are medically stable. A child’s doctor prescribes it. If your child already qualifies for home nursing, they will very likely qualify for PPEC. Call or text us and we will help you find out. If our center is not the right fit for your child, we will refer you to one that is.
